Thank you for your insightful comments Peter.

I absolutely agree with you. Our fears present the biggest road-blocks to our success. Our fears hold us back, keep us within our comfort zone, and prevent us from learning new things, gaining unique experiences and chasing our dreams. I will no doubt endeavor to cover this subject in greater depth in the future particularly focusing on NLP strategies I have picked up over the years. However, most of this content will be presented at the MasterMind Matrix Blog which I am planning to officially launch early in 2010.

I found your delineation of the components of mind very enlightening.
It leads to the discovery of the points of resistance and limitations that
we all face in personal development. Knowing the path and being on the
path are two different things, however and implementation is frequently
hampered by long established personal fears. So, finding effective ways
of dealing with fears may well be pivotal in this process. I think that this
aspect is where we need the most work and research, and is the most
difficult aspect of personal growth. Your work can help someone to
realize their limitations, as well as their gifts. Most people cannot
see or accept those components accurately, and don't even know that
they are obstructive, let alone how to cope with them.
Thank you for your work!

I agree with you Seye.

Many times people will say things, believing them to be fact, when in reality they are other people's opinions. Therefore it is important for us to always question everything, before accepting it as reality. A few carefully asked questions can literally open up a whole new world of perspective.

Adam,

I think this was an excellent article on critical thinking and a must read for all. I know for one that I am always trying to improve the quality of my thinking and how I perceive the world. The biggest problem with assumptions at times is realizing that you have a hidden assumption to begin with; many times we look at things as being facts when they are just our opinion on things. I look forward to reading more of your work.
