That is a great metaphor Annelie. At times we just want to freeze the wonderful moments in our lives, when in essence it's not so much the wonderful moments that make us feel great, but rather the contrast of emotions that we experience throughout our lives that make the wonderful moments worth waiting for.

Thank you so much for sharing this :)

This is so interesting, thanks for sharing and inspiring! I read your lines on transformation and change. Came to think of an image I hold of change... imagine a piece of beautiful music... you might not want it to end, but if you would freeze any single note to make it last, you wouldn't enjoy it anymore. In fact, the whole piece would be dead. It's the melody itself (the change) that makes it beautiful, that makes us love it, that we enjoy. Everything is the same, life wouldn't BE without its flow. Freezing a single moment would instantly make it dead. So no point holding on to anything, really. When we see this beauty, I think we can better enjoy life's melody, the high and low tones, the minor key, the major, the pauses, the lifts, the adagios, the da capos, the legatos... go with the flow - and with the help of raising our awareness start conducting the piece we want to create and listen to. :-)
have a wonderful melody
