Lets take a step back through time by a few decades or so, back in the days before the Internet took hold on the world when kids had very little information available to them. Besides the vast array of books available in the libraries or the magazines that were sold on street corners – kids had very few options of finding the information that would answer their most curious questions. Because this information was difficult to obtain, many kids settled down to watching television or listening to their favorite music and bands. And when they had pressing questions that needed answers, their parents and teachers provided them with the information that eased their curiosity. Yes, during these days information and learning seemed very much under the control of one’s elders. To get ahead in this world – as a kid growing up before the days of the Internet – you just had to be above average, get good grades at school and complete your University or College degree. After which you were guaranteed a good and well paying job and most ironically you weren’t expected to keep on learning many new things in order to stay at the top of your position.

Fast forward to the present and you will now find that the same kind of mentality and attitude of a few decades ago will not keep you at the forefront of ANYTHING you set your mind to today. It has been theorized by scientists that our Universe is expanding at an ever increasing rate. The same is also true about our world and the amount of information that we are being exposed to on a daily basis. Yes, the amount and rate of information is exponentially accelerating forward on a daily basis, and yet the technology that allows us to tame this information is also breaking boundaries and barriers as I write this post. To stay ahead in the game of life, you must not only find ways to enhance the quality and amount of information you take in on a daily basis, but you must also find productive ways that will allow you to easily collate and integrate this knowledge into your psyche. From here it’s all about action and implementation of that knowledge within the Physical or Online worlds.
